My name is Deanna Cochran. I am a RN certified in Hospice and Palliative Care, working in the end of life field since 2000. More about me.
This site is about a sharing of information so please send in your thoughts, opinions and experiences and I’ll consider putting them up. It will be easy and enjoyable to go through, even though some of the content may be difficult to read at times. My style is conversational and laid back.
In the general pages, as you can see, there are many areas: the blog (1st cube on left), palliative care (2nd cube on left), end-of-life (3rd cube on left), recent blog articles (1st cube in 2nd column), and the rest is self explanatory.
One day I’m going to have a member section. The membership pages will be more interactive. Registration and contribution in the membership site will support QLC’s mission and first project. Our mission. QLC’s first project is a caregiver retreat cottage. This cottage will be a place for the primary caregiver to go after the death of their loved one.
There is going to be an e-market one day as well. What I’d like to offer there are things specific to this area of interest, whether it be books, movies, special items, etc. I’m especially looking for local and regional artists and authors. There is so much talent and wonderful things of help to share. If you think you have a product that would be of help to someone, you may write me and I’ll consider putting it in the marketplace.
I’m looking forward to building the site as we go. This is a dynamic labor of love that will be continuously changing with new information. If you have any suggestions, I encourage you to let me know.
Peace,
Deanna
