The sharing of information and support of lay and professional caregivers to enhance the quality of life for people at the end of life is what guides every action within QLC.
We focus on the time period between 'when-cure-driven-treatments-begin-to-stop-working' and bereavement.
QLC began as an online resource center, in 2005, to share about the power of palliative care in the non-hospice setting. We have evolved over the years to not only be a voice for non-hospice palliative care, but to also bridge the gaps in health and death care. We have become the go-to source for many people, lay and healthcare professionals alike.
We have been developing relationships with world leaders since the early 2000's, building an infrastructure of support for all of us in the end of life empowerment movement. We continue to value unity in this movement and accessibility for all.
